For a limited time, Sharp Electronics Corp. ("Sharp") is offering Corning Incorporated retirees residing in the United States the opportunity to purchase audio, video, home appliance and home office products, at a discount. This program is administered and managed by Sharp and has no affiliation with Retiree Extras. Sharp is the selling party for all sales under this program.
All Corning Incorporated retirees living in the U.S. are eligible for significant discounts on selected electronic products for their personal use, including LCD televisions, audio systems, home-theater projects, notebook computers, accessories and more.
The Sharp Affinity Program is a result of the long-lasting business relationship between Sharp Electronics and Corning Display Technologies. Sharp manufactures leading-edge LCD equipment for both consumer and professional markets, using Corning’s LCD glass substrates.
Corning 's connection to this program is limited to providing access to the Sharp extranet sales site through a web link on Corning Incorporated Retiree Group’s (CIRG) site. While Corning is a leading supplier of LCD glass substrates to Sharp, Corning will not receive any direct compensation for any sales made by Sharp through this program.
Further, Corning does not provide any representations or warranties on its customers' finished products, and will not provide any representations or warranties on the products sold by Sharp under this program. All terms and conditions of any sale will be between the individual retiree and Sharp, as stated on the Sharp web site.
