What is CIRG?

The Corning Incorporated Retirees Group (CIRG) was established in 1994 to provide a vehicle for retirees to continue workplace friendships and to share memories and experiences of their years working for what has been one of the most diversified corporations in American industry. The CIRG was established for all retired hourly and salaried employees of Corning Incorporated.

What We Do

CIRG keeps retirees active, connected and informed. We have regular meetings over coffee and organize special events. Two most notable social events: Summer Picnic and Christmas Party. All of our events are open to Corning Incorporated retirees, spouses, and guests. CIRG maintains this website in conjunction with Corning's Corporate Communications department.

How We Stay In Touch

CIRG provides infomation through this website, in the annual Newsletter, and through notices sent to the local media. CIRG's Board of Directors helps plan and organize events to keep the program running.
